    Restoration - Finally finished one

Finally finished with the restoration. Took me a number of years. I had to make the axles and rear shocks and heavily refurbish components. Very original. When I started I didn't understand how unavailable parts were. It's a 1968 Bonanza BC1300 mini bike. You know, the one I couldn't afford as a kid. I've had a number of projects over the years that I didn't finish so I finally have one I did finish. I'm not really a collector so I'll have to think of next steps. I rode it yesterday and it was kind of fun. It's a lot more fun when you're 10 years old though

    Nicely done.

It happens to be that I was just reading into starting to restore my Parnell Jones Kawasaki.

Sweet. Nice work! My first go kart was a Rupp Spider with that exact Tecumseh engine, learned how to wrench on it. Then moved up to McCulloch...

    Thanks All.
I might be the only person with a “blue-printed” Tecumseh h35

I submitted it to BAT and was REJECTED.

That is awesome! Very fine restoration indeed. I had to laugh when I saw the post though as I have the same year and model Bonanza that I fixed up for my Nephews to ride at the family cabin about 20 years ago, and that I am currently trying to sell. No where close to as nice as yours, but not too bad either. I'll post some pics of it tomorrow.
    Cheers,

    Jones...
