That is not an original '73 dash , but it is a later period Porsche replacement .

I have a friend with this same dash in his 1974.
He must have replaced his original, because of the common cracks.
So he gets the Porsche 'improved design' dash.
I wonder what years these were available?

I always heard these factory-replacement one piece dashes came out in 1979. But cannot independently confirm.

I have one the same in my car, installed early 80's. I think Frank Beck mentioned what model they were used on a while back.
    Solve the speaker warpage problem.

They weren't used on any model. They were replacement dash pads intended for all 69-75 dash pads and only available from dealer parts departments.

Thanks for all the useful info. I made some changes to the post and lowered the price.
