Lucky to be at his last car and coffee on Oct. 24th, 2021. Thanks Sherwood for the Porsche memories and the Excellence Magazines. His monthly Porsha event at Verdugo Starbucks each 3rd sunday of the month wants to be continued in his memory. Hope to see you there. Glen (74 lime green 911)

So sorry to read this news....I always had a great respect for Sherwood, and his enthusiasm for the early Porsche products. I think he was at the first R Gruppe gathering in Cambria in 2000, and probably attended every event since then. I bought a couple of his gate shift kits for my cars, and felt they were well engineered. He always made thoughtful comments on technical issues guys had. He will be missed by this community. RIP Sherwood.

Thanks Chuck. Did you forward these photos to Sherwood's family?

They are putting something together for the funeral.

So sorry to hear this ... Rest in Peace my friend.

I hadn't spoken with Sherwood since the 914 World's 2015 WCC. He was driving behind me on a Saturday's spirited run through the back road twisties. After we stopped for a quick rest, I remember him asking what the 'BB' had in the engine bay. He was surprised that it was only a 2.1L/4-banger.
