    2021 SoCal Vintage BMW Show . . .

. . . yesterday, 06-Nov. Only found out about it, the Wednesday before

So? Fired-up my Good Little Horsie + trotted-off to Woodley Park in Van Nuys

    Got there ~0715, and --- WOW! . . . what a shew!

Reminded me of some of the first Porsche shows I went to, back in the early '90s --- gulp! . . . anybody remember the old El Dorado Park get-togethers? . . .

    . . . thirty years, ago, now!

    Anyway . . .

    . . . trio of Euro-spec e30s --- including a nice little Touring . . . and a coupe defaced w/DoT-spec side-markers. Lotsa e30 love, here

    . . . interesting e30 M3. Looks to've been repainted a not-so-modest shade of orange, w/Euro front bumper cover + US rear (wtf?) w/ Evo splitter, rear flap, + some-kinda-after-market outside rear-views. Woof!

But what is interesting is the missing 'roof. All US-spec cars came loaded --- w/leather, AC, power windows, + 'roof. So, is this a Euro shell, maybe? . . . or just welded-up?

Oh-yeah -- and missing the signature roof antenna

    Euro-bumpered M5 --- note vintage CA pass-car tags . . . = been here awhile

    More 2021 SoCal Vintage BMW . . .

    . . . wide variety of cars --- like the demographic . . .

Tons 'o '02s --- in all flavors . . . rats, barners, all manner of hot rods including ones with transplanted engines . . . but mostly just a lot of really clean/sweet/lovely cars owned by adoring owners

    e34 M5 w/ OG wheel-fans. I know-I know --- makes the car look like it's wearing whitewalls . . . but those things are Mg and/now tres scarce + pricey . . . as anyone who's tossed 'em now knows. Limited to 155, here in Murrica --- but 'll do >180 . . .+ manual only, Citizens

Euro 635 manual. Krustier than it looks from here, but has a period Alpina interior. Knock-out Looker IMO

    '02s --- tidy + modded . . . lined-up for admittance

    Irreverent e30 325iX (AWD)-cum-wagon . . .

    . . . note 'Rule #1'

    . . .

    Mildly-tweaked '02 --- don't recognize the wheels . . . anybody?

    Square-light tii --- US-model (going by the side-markers) + Euro bumpsters

    Queueing-up

    CF body panels 'fo' sale'

e12 Alpina . . . going by the plumage, anyway. Love all the brightwork!

LS-inated e28. Hearing it running was something else. One serious tower-truss --- jeeeez! And nice radiator, but-uh . . . about your AC?
