    More 2021 SoCal Vintage BMW Show . . .

    . . . assorted semi-exotika + weirdos

Euro e21 (from the rear bumper + plate), e12 'hot rod' --- see the turbo motor (below), and an Alpina badged 2000 sedan . . . rolling on 16s, seems

Tidy little 2002 Touring. Looks like lovely fun --- but, since most came from Europe, these can be just a biiiiiit exhausting to sort . . . = rusty/nasty/heart-breaking

    Another Touring -- on 13s, thank you . . .

    . . . and a 3-pedal CS . . .

. . . and another CSL. Alpina cow-catcher + hood strakes 're about it. Kinda low-key, huh?

    Oh-yeah --- that color 's 'inka' . . . NOT low-key

    More 2021 SoCal Vintage BMW Show . . .

. . . notice the sheer number of cars on hand

    5er --- w/ Euro bumpsters grafted-on? . . . sitting on some really low-profile tires w/the ever-present/fragile/retro modular wheels

    . . . and lots --- and I mean LOTS . . . of e30s. Knew these cars were popular but sheesh!

    Tidy little 318iS w/ Euro bumpster trim --- no side-markers . . . lowered, w/ faktory (?) cast 15s + insufficient sidewalls

    More 2021 SoCal Vintage BMW Show . . .

    . . . more e30s . . .

Slammed + skinned + stuffed cabrio. Not sure of the power/torque, here, but I wonder 'bout the weight of this engine . . . and cabs aren't exactly renowned for their resistance to twist (retwistance?) --- and no strut brace? = brave. Paint + interior combo looks fabulous + lotsa 'cu$tom' going on, here

    Well-run M3. Naff wheels

M3 cabrio. See more and more o' these but I can't see the point . . . cutting the roof off?

    Alpina B3 3.2. Hm --- not exactly sure what I'm looking at, here . . . should be a 2.7 . . . unless someone 'hot-rodded' this. In any case, a rare car --- especially here . . . 259 built between '89 and '91

    . . .

    . . . big '02 contingent --- never seen so many . . . and in all flavors

    Super-tidy 'golf' tii

A Guy's 'work car' --- payin' for its keep. 'I gave the Painter a color chip . . . but it turned-out a LOT brighter than I thought'

    A bouquet of '02s

Check-out the demographic --- future lookin' bright for ol' Bimmers

    . . . still more '02s

High 'rat' to 'prance-wagon' ratio = some awesome cars . . . but not enough to make The Restuvus feel outta place

    Just m' kinda shew

    More 2021 SoCal Vintage BMW Show . . .

    . . . some 'hot rodded' '02s

    Bodywork . . .

Shaved side-marker + belt trim, w/Alpina (or, look-a-likes, anyway) wheels

Olde Skoole 'box' flairs-cum-rockers + all markers/trim/bumpers deleted, modular wheels

    Engine swaps --- w/ assorted bracing . . .

    Never seen this one --- Honda's V-TEC . . . outta the S2000? . . . looks well thought-out/-executed, here

Good ol' S14, here --- Real M3 Engine . . . colloquially referred to as an 'M2.' Engines start-out as 2.3 liter, but --- who knows what this is, now

    Tidied-up interior --- looks like AC? . . . with snappy orange-stitched + e21 Recaros . . . leather, looks like

    'Nother shaved-trim body --- w/ nifty/subtle little Gurney flap . . . noyce!

    . . . the Rabble

    '02 w/Turbo-type flairs + spoilers

    Super-tidy '02 w/some pretty neat wheels --- 'Corsa Velocita' . . . seen @post #4

    Some Euro-versions --- 323 + Touring (w/Sport Line body-kit?) . . . both w/recent CA plates

    Yours Truly's Little Horsey

    And some engines . . .

    . . . S50 3-liter --- a swap from the NA e36 M3 . . .

    . . . what looks a BMW 'Big' Six --- M30, maybe? . . . 'nother swap . . .

    . . . and a 'Small' Six --- in that 323 . . . stock/correct . . . 'cept maybe for that finish on the intake

    More 2021 SoCal Vintage BMW Show . . .

    . . . more Rabble . . .

    Snappy small-4 (going by that itsy-bitsy tail-pipe) Touring --- but in Daytona! Wheels look super-vulnerable . . . + IMO a bit naff

Bavaria with er-um --- 'interesting'? . . . patina. Sure hope that wasn't the result of an un-secured passenger. (Gulp!)

Line-up of CSs --- including another shot of that Inka CSL w/ Alpina snow-plow

Coupla BaT cars, I believe. One, the e30, is a lovely driver . . .
    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1991-bmw-318is-73/

    Un-striped/undercover Alpina B6, 2.8 --- one of 249

    . . .

Haven't seen one o' these in decades! --- mechanical super-charger for the M42/M44 . . . Downing Atlanta, was it?

    e36ers --- biggest (+ youngest) contingent, here

    Mutant '02 --- schlammed + flaired . . . w/'jungle gym'

Mutant e36 . . . w/ various body mods. Lotsa CF around/available for these --- for a car that went outta production two decades ago

    e36/8 M Coupe --- aka 'the Dork', aka 'the Clownshoe' . . . but I'll just call it capable . . .
    https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...l=1#post483781

. . . mounting what looks like that kooky scooter Honda hung off the back of their 'City' --- back in the '80s? . . . = older than most of the attendees. Exhaust looks ominous

An interior re-done in what's left after you eat your hamburger

    More 2021 SoCal Vintage BMW Show . . .

    . . . some 'big' coupes . . .

    2800CS automatic --- virtually extinct due to the market's appetite for three-pedal/3-liter cars . . .

    And a Euro 6er. More-modern looking car --- especially with the slimmer bumpsters . . . (handsomer, too, IMO) . . . + big enough to take all the later Sixes (+ Eights + Tens + Twelves) BMW developed. Totally under-appreciated vehicle . . . + still under-the-radar

All I can say is . . . remember how long it took for CS values to finally wake up? . . .

    . . . jus' sayin'
