Thread: Body shop / guy recommendations for 72 911

    Axiom Motorsport in LA did my floor and suspension pan work. They do over flow work for TRE, and were pretty reasonable and old school. It’s not a fancy facility, but the work was pretty solid.

    Curious what the average going rate is for an experienced Porsche body shop that’s able to do these kinds of body repairs out on the west coast? Around me on the east coast are two shops that get 85-90 per hour.

    From my experience here in Southern California, Porsche bodyshops with a Celette charge from $100 to $125 per hour.

    I think for the good shops, the rates have really started to flatten across the country as everyone is so busy. Maybe a somewhat higher in Cali due to the unfriendly business environment but I think the days of getting a significantly better deal by having your car done in another state are fading fast.
