Who is OEM for the alternator? specifically 1971

I searched around for alternator information. but did not find definitive answers.

I am looking to buy an extra alternator, to have on a shelf, for that rainy day.
    for 911T 1971:
    1. who was the OEM manufacturer?
    2. what are the amps, on the alternator, for that car? What amps were available?

Is there a type to avoid?
Is there a type, other than OEM, that is recommended?

    thanks, ScottA
(I do have extra fog lights...but they are LED)

Scott, on my ‘71T, the OEM is Motorola. I don’t know the amps.
