    Help me determine these decals

    Hey everyone,

As some of you are aware we have finally run our 1968 911 T/R in its first race since 1973. Part of preserving that legacy is getting the correct decals right on the car. The ones that we are having the most trouble identifying are fender stickers that were on the car at the 1969 1000km of the Nurburgring. Here are a couple photos to take a look over. Any thoughts & guesses would be appreciated.

i didn't find any decals yet. but i did find this 1/18 scale model, of what seems to be your car, with ARAL, or another similar car from Nurbg, but 1968 or 1969.
also, there are these guys that make decals for scale models...they are generally on ebay...most in france....they see these all the time...and just might be able to identify the stickers.

    These are somewhat easy decals:

I think the key is the big A$$ed sponser name.

I think it's the Magirus Deutz logo. Take a look at the shape of the right hand of the decal. The shape appears to be the Deutz logo and the left the Magirus. I bet that it's one whole rectangular decal on the fender and not two side by side. Don't have a clue as to the decal below the rectangular ones.

    Or, could be entirely coincidental.

Thanks for all the responses. I got Apal & Magirus Deutz down pat. The harder ones are those fender ones from our car, #100.

    Max,

The TR looks great. I think that the rectangular decal on the front fender is a VW emblem on the left and a Magirus Deutz emblem on the right. The middle is

    STRAHLE KG
    VOLKSWAGEN
    PORSCHE

Great Porsche history. Magirus Deutz made some great support vehicles.

I doubt the VW and the magirus logo at the right site
The VW is too wide in the lower wings..

    Strähle KG
    …?…..
    Porsche

    yes

    edit:
I did contact Lennart Jarmyr, who did the photo back in 1969.
    He confirms the VW logo..

Wow! Thank you guys a ton. Does Lennart have any further photos of the car or memories of it? Trying to build an archive of the car from those who ran with it / saw the car in action.
