    I bought a long section of tubing from McMaster Carr…(by far the most economical)
    Matches very well
    I don’t have the spec at hand but you can measure the original old one.
    Will look tomorrow.

    A tube with a 4 mm ID (Wurth 07714) will not fit on a metal tab that measures almost 10.25 mm across. You are going to need something with at least 7 mm ID. The reason I said above that the ID was 8.65 mm is because an 11/32 drill just fits inside the tube I took off my car to measure. I would buy at least an 8 mm ID tubing, maybe a little bigger.
