    74 RS right hand drive

    Porsche Cars GB press release on the 74 3.0 RS with teasing references to the dominance of the 73 RS in production sports car championship of previous year that Nick Faure won initially using a RHD M472 RHD Touring press car and then completed the season on RHD Sport that arrived sometime later.


    There were roughy ( actually a few handfuls over) 100 genuine 2.7 Carrera RS in RHD for model 73 of which around fifty were the RHD quota for the important originally planned first-500 series — so RHD examples of genuine RS are not that common, but the later year is quite rare.

    He used a similar image (his own drawing as he is an artist) on his letterhead for many years — example here from a note he sent to me in the early nineties inviting me to a track day with some tuition at Goodwood probably five years or more before the circuit reopened to host the Revival, Member’s Meetings etc :
