    What’s this (seat belt related)?

    I was watching a YouTube video featuring a 1970 911s that had this seat belt receiver.

    Any idea what this arrangement is for? Has me stumped.

    Saab used this same arrangement from the mid 70’s thru the early 80’s. The belt has no tongue, you simply pass the belt under the bar and lock the bar in place. Clever. Simple. Easy.
