    Blue brake line hose

Is there a source for the blue braided brake hose that goes to the resevoir in the luggage compartment?

PMB Performance usually has it. Call them.

Hmm I have had 3 different 73 cars where by the time I owned them they all had blue so I figured blue was the go from day 1.

the two hoses out of the bottom of the reservoir in the luggage compartment in my 73 are black as Gorden says
However the overflow hose out of the top in mine is (mostly) blue looking - but that is because MOST of it (under the tee junction) is clear and the blue brake fluid makes it look blue
the initial part of that hose in mine also appears to be plastic (but looks a bit thinner OD) and looks a bit like a pattern you see on some garden hoses and definitely is not clear like further down

BelMetric also has the braided Blue hose with the yellow stripe that was used by VW. Very pricey! The black hose above is $7.55 a foot, the Blue is almost $25 a foot.
