    19 mm Master machined to 20 or 21 mm

    Has anyone ever machined a 19 mm master cylinder out to 20 or 21 mm? I would like to find an old one and disect it. I have a machinest who I think might be able to reproduce the internal metal parts in titanium. Next would be proper seals.
    Anyone have some pictures of a rebuild kit or internal parts?

    I have 2 20mm cylinders and one new kit. Do not forget, these are inch size masters in one sixteenth increments. 19 = 19.05 = .750" 20 = 20.6375 = .8125"

    As those are very hard to come by, I'm trying to figure out how to make one. If I can't do it I'll give the 20.64 VW version a go.

    I run Boxster front calipers and 42 mm 2 piston ATE's on the rear of my SWB car. The pedal is just a touch too soft. I feel a 22.2 or 23 mm master would create a pedal that would be harder than what I'm looking for.
    That being said I really don't know the finer points of their desigh. I suspect there is more to it than bore (volume?) size. Stroke? Etc. Is there a good article or book to read on the subject.
