    Weltmeister decal - 11/70 Build ?

I see different views on the location of this decal for a 1971 car. My build date is 11/70. Anyone have a strong view?

    I have a 10/70.
I chose to put a decal on the front windshield. Right side.
I did so because of the slate grey Steve McQueen car. Which I believe was 1970.
(My car has several 1970-71 era Le Mans themed details)
I like both positions, front or quarter. But I thought the McQueen cars gave precident for me to put one up front.... And leave room for a special foil decal on my quarter.

And then this 1971... Used over in France, during the movie.
Also with the same up front decal.

    Hi Simon,

My 2CW is Right Rear 1/4, but whilst on the topic would a MY 11/70 have the 1969 sticker or the 1969 1970 sticker?

Also on my original 1972 it is R R 1/4 (it does not even straight haha) so I dont think it was an exact science as to the precise placement on the glass of the 1/4 but centre and forward of the latch.

I don't have an exact date , but early cars had the decal on the front windshield and I believe 11/70 qualifies as an early car .

My 48k-mile, 71E had the original decal on the passenger rear quarter window.

For my '70 I put it right hand side (ie drivers side!) rear quarter... because that's where I thought it looked best. Right near my ESR decal. Best pedestrian visibility when it's parked on street. Just my $0.02..
