1973 911T cold start fuel leak

    Hi everyone,
need some help. mt car leaks fuel on the cold start on he left side of the engine bay , around 1-2 drops a second for about a minute until the car is warm.
when car warms up , it stops. or maybe the fuel evaporates and I cant see it any more ....
do you know what the cause may be , is it safe to drive ??
    thanks,
    Simon

You need to find the source. You are risking a fire.

    CIS or MFI Car?

Check the fittings on the fuel system for leaks. If not obvious, A simple way to find them is to put a bit of flour on the lines and see where it is wet.

also , i had the fuel lines checked on the car before i bought it last week, and I was told they were all new and good. i just dont know why there is a leak and why does it stop when the car warms up.

MFI fuel pumps will leak when cold then stop when they warm up. Pump is located just ahead of left rear tire. Confirm leak location.

I think the most important thing to say here is: IT is NOT safe to drive.
