    Its pretty great to be friends with Michael... He's taken some terrific photos over the years and he shared these with me this morning.

    Zandvoort 1970 by Michael Keyser

    These photos were probably taken during practice or qualifying for the 1970 Dutch Grand Prix.
    This was the race in which Piers Courage was killed.

    Wonderful Mark! Love the incredibly varied helmets, reflecting a pivotal moment as personal safety considerations were changing rapidly. Open helmets with googles and balaclava, closed helmet, some with dark visors, and got to love Rolf with the glasses!
