Denver, Colorado has had the least amount of snow in history this year. So, I've been driving my '69T all winter. It is nice that Grundy classic car insurance has no annual mileage limit.

Another activity you guys might try, is heading out when the mercury dips to approx 8 - 12 F. Just back now after driving in that, but a 928 accepts it.
2.2 Air cooled at roughly 12F --
If a different fan blade were installed, with fewer blades. Not sure it's feasible, but sounds like fun..
So, last weekend I had to cross the Alps southbound with wife's BMW 530d xdrive ... snowstorm created havoc in the motorway between Munich and the Austrian borders ... therefore I took a shortcut in the mountains on ici roads. Snow is there for Uli & co. to enjoy .
I took a section of the German Alpine Road (Deutsche Alpenstraße) to get almost to Innsbruch (A), which I strongly recommend to all of you fancing a "tourist delivery" (now called European Delivery Program) kind of experience
P.S. here is another shot from a couple of weeks ago

Chilling good pics Biancaneve..
Another thought on the fan : if a few clam shell pieces were fabbed in GF, that could snap onto the left/right side of the housing, in order to reduce CFM by 75%, it could prevent the motor from over cooling in the harshest conditions. Otoh, cabin heat would shrink dramatically. Webasto is always good, or electric heat.. with a more powerful alternator. Then, an early 911 might tackle Antarctica..
This could be a nice winter project ... curious to know if the chain-wheeled 356 who recently went to Antarctica had something similar ...
