    Apparently, weather is going to change for the good (or bad, according to the point of views) during this week, so snow is expected in the Alps ... I will be driving through Germany, Austria and Northern Italy during the next weekend ... let you know how it looks.

    back in 2012 - trip to Porsche Museum. I will remeber this precise trip all my life : semi slick tyres (R888) and no heating at all.

    In the early 70's drove my 911 from Texas to Virginia
    in a snow/ ice storm. Stopped for one night thinking the storm would go on without me, but it waited. Car did great.

    Indeed, traction on the snow / ice is amazing with today's tires ... back then, it was all on the car (and the driver)
