Thread: Slider brand?

  1. #1

    Slider brand?

What brand are these sliders? They look like 440mm long.

Would it be possible to buy these on their own without the tilting bracket?

Thanks but the reason I'm looking for more modern rails is because I want double locking but without the cross-links that the original '73 had, because they get under your thighs.

Hence my interest in those pictured above.

However, my preference would be genuine Recaro rails (modern) but they are too short (384mm). Original length in early 911 was 440mm (bolt-to-bolt 400mm)

Do a search on the web for “Recaro seat sliders”. There are several dealers selling the modern, dual lock sliders

Been doing some research. I think the brand is Cama SRL, an Italian company. It's not a bad brand as Ferrari uses them for some of their models.
According to Cama's website they can make made-to-measure rails.

I wonder if the Recaro company also offer such a service? I can't seem to find Recaro's email address. Anyone know?

    Thanks.

The hard part is finding some that fit our seats and cars. I’m looking for the same for my Recaro 1328, so far without luck. I’m sure they are out there but so far I have been stumped
