    Newer large tube SSI questions

I could have sworn there is a thread about these larger tube exchangers.
Will they fit on a 83 SC engine? We are building a 3.2 liter engine with 9.5CR, full MFI. MFI pump and throttle bodies sent out to match the displacement with port matched intake and exhaust heads. They look like thick flange exchangers, yes?
Will they need to be modified if they fit?
    Exhaust port size?
Has anyone added the tube on the drivers side to send heat to the fuel pump?
    Anyone used these yet?
I have a nice 200 mile set that we had on a 2.4 modS. Going 8/10s of a liter bigger, which is a big step up. So that's why I have these questons.

Chris, there's some discussion about them on Pelican:

Has anyone used these? So far I haven't been able to get a ID number for the exhaust port size. I suspect they should fit with some work. I read on Aasse they need clearance for the chain housing.
My machinest can add the tube to heat the MFI fuel pump.
I saw a video on these and can't find it either. What is the name of the guy who posts here from Europe that interacts with SSI? Maybe I can get some specs from him.

There is a thread on Pelican about these. I believe it said 41mm. It is under engine rebuilding forum.

The ones I used on the 2.4 was 36 or 37 at the port and 1.5 OD on the tubes.
The bigger ones appear to be 41 at the port and 1 5/8 OD. I read where a few guys said you would have to turn the flanges on one side 90 degrees. That doesn’t make sense to me looking at the pictures. 993’s and I think 964’s have 4 stud exhaust ports so they work in both directions. So whey not set them up to work with SC and Carrera heads.

I was planning on using these for Hot Rod 3.0 and 3.2 built engines. So, you're saying they weren't built for 3.0 3.2 heads? That would be a big bummer.

I'm not possitive yet but I think they will work. I was reading on Pelican that some thought the flanges were off 90 degrees on one side. It looks to me they are clocked the same on both sets. After looking at the SSI's that I have on the shelf and the bigger ones it looks to me like they will work. I'll need the tube on the drivers side to heat the MFI pump added. And these are thick flange. I'm thinking that shouldn't be an issue, just longer studs. Am I missing anything?
