    desktop cylinder clock

    @all,

    I was asked to work out something with a
    green faced clock, if I could organize and else.
    I thought about housing and different possibilities,
    and happened to cross some old cylinders.
    So one thing led to another,

    Here we have now the
    67 green face clock,
    sitting in a sandblasted and powdercoated
    cylinder with a 80mm bore.

    The clock is wired to work with
    110/220V input - 12V output
    to get plugged in any wallsocket.

    The rear is closed with a removable cardboard,
    so the clock can be reached at any time.

    The clock snuged in precisly and the
    clock casing got some punctual tapes
    for a tight fit.

    The stand are two parts of acrylic glas, jigsawed with the
    cylinders radius to raise the clock and give it a better readable angle.
    These maybe replaced by either chromed parts, or polished alloy, or stainless steel.

    ……..

    The future owner is quite pleased with it…

    Very cool. I'm curious how many amps are you running on your output?

    @all,

    thank you for your nice words…
    of course, I can replicate this on demand…
    but we all know, the major price tag is on the clock itself…
    the powdercoated cylinder, the connector and rest are the lesser part of the investment.
    on special wish the acrylic glas stands get renewed by full polised stainless steel.
    Bought the 86mm drill .. in order to proper cut the radius..

    the output is 12v 1A - less should work also, did not try this yet..
