    Throttle body rebuild shops

My 69 may be needing my throttle bodies rebuilt, or, turned in as cores for a refurbished set. I've heard from Gus Pfister that Eurometrix is the place to go. They are real backed up, and I guess changing locations, this may take some time. Does anyone have suggestions for shops that specialize in this? Thanks

Aaron Burnham of Burnham Performance, Camarillo, CA. Did excellent work, knowledgable and you will appreciate his work and results.

For an example, he asked if I wanted to replace the aluminum linkage with steel version. Had no idea there were 2 versions.

Aaron has moved to Berkeley and has a full time job that is not Porsche oriented. I do not think he is available to service these, at least not at this time.

From what I can gather calling around for 3 or 4 hours today Eurometrics might be the last shop to do this kind of work. They are busy and about to shut down and move to a new location. So if you want the work done it might be worth getting on their list.

+3 on Matt. Great guy, and great work. He just did my RS TBs/stacks. I think it took ~6 months and they were in nice shape when he started, but are phenomenal now. Any appetite to use webers in the interim while you wait? While every cost is nuts, the incremental cost assuming you sell them in a year or two will probably be relatively small compared to having TBs rebuilt by Eurometrix and the whole MFI system working properly (presumably Gus is doing your pump).
