WTB: Backseat leather hold down strap with snap button

    Hi,

The leather strap with the snap button got old and ripped off completely.

I’m looking for a replacement strap in good shape (not brittle) Just need one but would buy a pair. My 911 is a 71.

    Thank you

Good Quality - got them for my 72...

Was yours "factory installed"? if so can you post a picture - we have a debate about the exact location of the straps.

Any idea where to get attachment that goes onto the shelf?

The seat straps should come with tacks, but a pair of wood screws is better (and are hidden under the carpet). I ended up using some wood epoxy to fill in the original holes in the plywood and strengthen the whole thing). If you have a coupe, any strap should be fine, it will need to be trimmed most likely, but if you have a targa, get the longest one you can. Measure from the top of the carpet to the button placement on the back of the seat carpet, and add an inch or two for the tail that you will attach under the carpet, if that makes sense. I think sierra has all of the different lengths.
