    Can you tell me what makes this an EARLY style badge? I happen to have one like it but I thought it came from an early 75 model 911S.

    To the OP: I'm also curious what distinguishes this an "Early 901 Style" hood badge, in your opinion? What I see is that on yours the corners of the sans-serif letters are mushy, whereas on my '67 and '69 the lettering is sharp and crisp; also, on my '67 the horizontal stripes are deep red, whereas on my '69 they are orange.

    “901” is to the rear of all the “early” ones, 65-73 so I’m guessing that’s what he means by “early 901”
