    35 Ford Coupe. . .

Though she wasn't known as a car buff, Marilyn once drove a pretty cool classic, today which is considered one of the hallmarks of early street rods, a mid 30's Ford coupe. It became her ride around '46 post divorce with Jim Dougherty. Sadly, she didn't have the time for it, or lightly modify it later on.. A 10 year old car probably didn't represent much value at the time, and because she was largely unknown, there is almost no archive, including where it was junked.

The 50's unveiled much longer, heavier rides, but the 30's Ford was relatively compact, and almost an instant legend.. https://dawnschickflicks.blogspot.co...beep-yeah.html

At one time considered among the 'best sounding' engines of all time.

I'm watching Bonnie and Clyde on TCM as I read this post. Early '30s V8's were their escape car of choice.

Timeless styling! The work of Edsel Ford.

There's some debate about role played by Butzi Porsche in the design of the 911. No doubt about Edsel Ford's role in designing the Model A.
