    the glove box needed repair.
    i filled in a few holes then sanded the inside with 220 grit.
    painted the inside with dark grey rust-oleum.
    then flocked it with dark grey flock.
    i will let it dry overnight and then blow off the excess.

    the linkage was plated.
    I bought the parts minus the motor a few years ago as i remember on this site.
    turned out that the bracket that was powder painted beautifully had the wrong bolt pattern for the motor, the 3 bolt holes for some reason were clocked back about an hour and the supporting small tab was also askew.
    I refinished my original motor bracket and was able to remove the entire linkage and place it into my part. It was tricky but worked.

    pulled the plate off and dug the waxy grease out .... regreased it
    So, after 40 plus years sitting in a field, it ran like a sewing machine.

    SPECIAL NOTE: Font is Ivory. not green not white. early cars have 3 different font colors.........

    Nice Bob, isn’t flock a cool product. Fairly easy to use and it fairly cheap.
