    I left the raised "perimeters" because I will place a 10mm pad on the floor and this will level out the floor

    to simulate how the 1967 was done (i have to guess that 1968 was treated the same way)
    I layed down sone material then put multiple layers of rubberized undercoating on it to simulate the horsehair pad that would have been on the floor..........

    After the undercoating partially dried (would not unravel) I used aName: DSCN1516.jpg Views: 291 Size: 143.7 KB roller to flatten the material.

    removed the front suspension fixtures and bolted on the suspension carrier.
    It had been on the fixtures since 2018
