    while preparing the door frames for polishing I went thru the clear on a high spot
    So, this forced my hand to treat the door frames the same way i did the rest of the body
    this meant color sanding and then shooting a final clearcoat.Name:  DSCN1327.jpg

    I had to do this out of order due to the shutz gun acting up...
    nevertheless, i finally undercoated the inside of the door shells Then primed the inside shell, and then painted the inside of the door shells with light ivory and clear.....

    Great thread Bob. I'm currently restoring a 68 coupe and at paint stage, what did you decide to paint the the front fender fuel supply bowl, satin black or body color?
