To get the stacks close to the dark color of the 69 ones what treatment would work. Would Cerakote work?

I have a set of 69 E/S throttle bodies available, pretty clean and functional, but could be used as cores if someone is looking to have a set restored as above....
looking for 1972 911t motor XR584, S/N 6121622
If I can get the picture to upload I just did mine in cerakote graphite black. It is still drying so I'm not sure of final finish. The pic was taken a couple hours after spraying them
