    FS: NOS Rear Decklid

Extremely nice new old stock rear decklid. This will fit any 911 from 1965 to 1973. It is sealed in grey primer to prevent rust. The decklid is perfect.

Reduced to $895 plus shipping. Pay pal as a friend.

    $1000 plus shipping.

This is a late long hood decklid...not period correct for 1965-1971.

This will fit any 911 through the G body. It is period correct for the 72 and 73 cars. Thanks for the details.

Sorry but, no it's not. The scallop accommodated the later smog pump. Want to say that '76 was the earliest that that style of lid was on a 911/930. '77-on for sure. I usually call that version a SC lid.

This deck lid does have the cutouts for license plate lights which means it's a pre-74. Unless.....someone cut them out.

I always thought the scallop began with the '73 CIS -- didn't realize it was related to the smog pump. Always learning something new on this board...

Yes, Michael, that’s what I was referring to as being not period correct for early 911s. I thought the scallop was introduced in 73 but it makes sense it’s for the smog pump.

    Best,

I've seen too many original 73.5s without it and I wouldn't know what they'd need the clearance for. Seen original 74/75 cars without it as well. AC cars didn't need it and I've seen it on some '76 Turbo cars. I just don't by the '72/'73 claim is all.

As for fit,,, Don't 964 doors fit??

Regardless of what this fits..........It is NEW OLD STOCK, nothing has been cut off if it...and it is perfect. If you want a new part for whatever car you are restoring...this one is what you are looking for. I hate to see it not be used. I don't need it.
