    I just ordered a newer Porsche 911 992

I got my allocation for a Turbo S LW.

Just saying as I am not an EV guy, and the manufacturers are going there. I decided to order today. It may be the last of of 3.7L engines? Does anyone ever know what time it is?

Just curious ... how far out are they estimating delivery these days for a Turbo S? (going to be an awesome Porsche!)

Our new Boxter order was going to lock in early March with June delivery. Now lock is late April with late July delivery. I think they are kicking the can down the road slowly as not to discourage us.

It was 16 months and now maybe ~14 months? It's all good with me as I am in no hurry other than to be on the list before EV.

I am a big fan of the 992 platform:

I ordered mine last July, but was on the waiting list since April 2021. Car showed up this past March. So less than one year for me.

    I ordered mine this year.

I say the 992 is the best of the new water cooled cars.

What color did you order? Interior? One can get carried away with options these days.

Sorry, my answer got deleted since I needed to sign in. I had already signed in. It's Agate Grey and red interior.

    They are impressive cars.
My 2022 Carrera 4S has already been through a lot of rain plus some sleet, hail and snow so far in the less than 500 miles I've owned it.
    Flawless.
Also competed in the local PCA auto-x a week ago.
These cars are very comfortable yet very capable....my 4S is incredibly fast (to me).
