SEV Marchal driving lights hood pods & covers

SEV MARCHAL hood pods. Original, made in France. Include rare Marchal soft covers originally designed for Matra race cars.
Marchal light units use easy to source halogen H1 bulbs under selective yellow internal covers. Gives a yellow sparkle to the lights even during daylight.
Marchal never made yellow glass for these pods, their answer to obeying French law at the time was internal bulb covers made of cadmium yellow glass.
These pods were factory equipment on Citroen and Matra cars. Identical to Cibie units except for the light units. Both Cibie and SEV Marchal were
owned at the time by Ferodo (of clutch & brake fame). Cibie made metal covers for their version, but Marchal only supplied soft covers for pod lights. These soft covers
with elastic straps are the rarest Marchal cover.
Steel pods are painted satin black. Free of dents or corrosion. Minor scratches from decades of storage.
Chrome-plated steel bezels are like new.
Marchal light units have perfect matching glass lenses & excellent vacuum-aluminized reflectors. Factory wiring.
Marchal Pods & bezels are NOS Matra parts in original boxes with date codes of 1974.
Marchal light units, adjustment rings & mounting bolts are excellent used from a Citroen dated 1969.
Rare soft covers are NOS in packaging with 1973 Matra LeMans decal.
Everything made in France originals, nothing reproduction. Totally complete with rubber gaskets & 911 specific backing plates.
$950 includes insured shipping to US addresses only please. No international shipping.
