    356 engine needed

sorry for posting here about this buy we all probably have a 356 in addition to our 911s. I bought what I thought was the original engine for my 356 after having the car since 1977. (my 1960 super cab has a beautiful non matching numbers engine currently installed) When the parts arrived that I paid for way in advance, all I got was the third member from the original engine, a few mis matched parts and a dissimilar two case pieces, so virtually nothing. SO what I need is a very complete engine that I can use and or build for the car, using my third member. I was wondering if anyone knew of one I could purchase.IMG_0577.jpg

If I knew the serial of the engine I could take a good guess as to the build # that would be close. That may help in locating a suitable case or engine.
