    1971 Guide Tube Repair

Just noticed the guide tube on the DS side cover is worn almost into a U shape. Any recommendation for repair without removing the cover itself or zip ties? Was thinking maybe a bronze or copper shoulder sleeve epoxied to it?

    Thanks in advance!

I know its hard to see thru the dirt, but yes there is a steel sleeve that accepts the clutch cable end and is then epoxied into the worn hole of the side cover.
