'. . . 1972 Porsche 911S coupe was reportedly first registered in Massachusetts and later moved to California, where it was acquired by the seller in 2002. The car is finished in Bahia Red over black leatherette and powered by a modified 2.7-liter MFI flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ Fuchs wheels, H4 headlights, European-market taillights, an 85-liter fuel tank, sport seats with houndstooth inserts, a 380mm steering wheel, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo. The most recent service consisted of replacing the tires and performing an oil change. This 911S is now offered with service records, owner’s manuals, removed parts, a tool kit, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a California title in the seller’s name.

. . . car is finished in Bahia Red (1313). It was repainted in 1998 after the engine lid was damaged and in 2020 to correct bubbling paint on the passenger door. Equipment includes H4 headlights, European-market taillights, pop-out rear quarter windows, rear bumperettes, a chrome driver’s door mirror, polished window moldings, and a right quarter panel-mounted oil filler unique to the 1972 911.

. . . Sport seats have been installed and they are trimmed in black leatherette with houndstooth inserts. A 380mm steering wheel is also fitted, and the Blaupunkt radio does not work.

. . . An 85-liter plastic fuel tank has been installed along with a space-saver spare. The factory spare wheel is included in the sale.

The Type 911/53 flat-six features mechanical fuel injection and was rebuilt and modified to 2.7-liter RS specifications by De Bonis Import Car Service in November 1998. A PerTronix ignition was added in 2007. An oil change was recently carried out. The snorkel for the MFI system is included in the sale.

. . . The seller reports that the Type 915 five-speed transaxle was rebuilt in 2006 by Carrera6 of Pasadena, California. A custom skid plate has been added to the underside of the front of the car
