    ‘72 Oelklappe oil sticker

I’d be grateful for advice whether the oil sticker on the ‘72 model year oil flap was applied to RoW-market cars, including European and UK spec, or was it just for US-market cars?

    Thanks Chuck.

Just read through all that and there's at least one European-supplied car which had both stickers in place upon delivery, so I'm inclined to think the stickers were for all markets, not just US.

Dr.Konradsheim has confirmed to me that they were fitted for all countries from the start of the ‘72 MY.

The Oil sticker on the also OIL stamped cap was by factory for all countries from the start of MY72 (Betriebsanleitung VIII/71, page 12, picture and text)
While the silver Oil sticker on the flap was introduced in the factory in 11/71 (burgundy parts book, Modification number 1 11/71).
Earlier MY72 cars that had not been delivered to the customers till 11/71 might got a sticker by the dealer.
