Is the rearvhub silver (clear) or yellow plated or otherwise treated?

    Thanks

Not plated at all in my experience I always clean up with a wire brush back to a nice dull, silver metal finish

I have looked at a few and I wondered if all plating had rubbed off or that they were just bare.

    Thanks.

I agree with Clyde, none that I have seen (over past 45 years) had any trace of plating.

For future reference. I found a nice one among while searching for something else. This parts from my June 66. There is actually paint on the hub as well.

When it rains it kind of poors

An other one (different car) confirmed the grey paint in the center.

The wheel flange is painted to match the painted part of the rotor.
