WTB: Missing tools for 1972 MY toolkit

    I’m looking to complete the toolkit in my ‘72 S and need the 10mm / 11mm open-ended wrench (999.195.012.02) and 19mm / 22mm ring wrench (999.571.017.02).

    I also need the flat-head Klein red-handled screwdriver (999.191.002.02) and a NOS pack of 5 fuses (911.721.013.00).

Please PM me if you have any of these.

I would like to trade my 10x11 DFS to either an 8x9 or 12x13 machined end Large Font DFS to complete a set I have.

Thanks but I don’t have any DFS to trade as I only have one of each.

please forgive my tool ignorance, but i've been engaged in so many "tool debates" that i refrain from making assumptions that i might "know" what is correct.

what are the specific attributes of the 10x11 and 19x22 wrenches that you seek?

i'll take a look amongst my spares to see whether i have what you are seeking.

So the 19mm / 22mm ring or box wrench looks like this:

I don't have a photo of just the 10mm / 11mm open-ended wrench but this is from Brett Johnson's book and is the complete toolkit for '72/'73 MY which shows the one I need with the others I already have:

Bob I have this 12 x 13 one to trade, but it has some flaws on one end.

Okay, it seems like we have a lot going on here....

So, matteo68 was looking for the 19/22 chrom-vanadium box wrench. That's pretty straightforward, as the photo shows.

So what sort of 10/11 is correct? DFS or something else? If DFS, large/small font? Milled ends or not?

Bob Alfonso's request was pretty clear, but it's hard to keep the two requests separate, given how the ad has panned.

I’ll post a photo of my other wrenches which may help - from memory I think they’re small font.

Perhaps it would have been better if Bob had started a new thread for his WTT in order to avoid two conversations going on here?

    Matteo,

yeah, your thread kind of got hijacked. i guess that happens, but it's never fun to keep things sorted out. (but it certainly did distract from your original interest.)

i've watched too many stupid arguments about tool provenance to ever suggest that i know what goes in a tool kit, plus i'm not terribly familiar with '72, so i'll watch to see what you post and if i have something you need/want, i'll try to make it work.

in the meantime, free bump ... i guess.

So here are some of my open-ended wrenches (they’re all like this) - as I say I just need the 10 / 11mm one:

And here’s my toolkit at the moment:

I don’t know what the wrench on the far left is but it’s not the correct P208 fan pulley wrench, so I’ve just bought a NOS one on eBay:
