'. . . offered is a 1973 Porsche 911 S. This matching numbers example is finished in orange with a lovely black houndstooth interior.

The 1973 model 911 S is quite significant in Porsches’ history as it is viewed as one of the highest regarded light weight sports cars porsche built in the 1970’s. The high-performance 1973 “S” had a highly responsive 2.4-liter Type 911/53 engine, with 190 horsepower. It was bolted to a new Type 915 transmission, which offered stronger internals and a simplified shifting pattern. A new front chin spoiler reduced front-end lift at speed by a claimed 40%, and it helped pin the front of the car to the pavement. It was so effective that Porsche soon adopted the part across the 911 line. Needless to say the 1973 911 S makes for an incredible drive.

This particular example has lived the past 15+ years of its life with its current owner in Beverly Hills as his pride and joy. Cosmetically the vehicle shows very nicely and is in very good condition with a well maintained interior and exterior. Mechanically the vehicle is in excellent condition. It's current owner took pride in having this 911 S running and driving at optimal levels at all times. It has been serviced regularly by N.A.R.W in Reseda and even received a complete engine rebuild back in 2013

Just a few numbers before mine. Driven like she should be and well maintained. Will be interesting to see how this fares. Mine too was initially sold at Forest Lane, Dallas.

It was included in the ESR roster, therefore belonging to some member ... maybe he/she's reading and can tell us more
