Bruce Baker recently retired down there too, he's near Plant City I think, he would probably love some company.

I pulled a bunch of cars from a body shop in Gainesville, and the owner Bob is an old 356'er, even owned Speedster #1.

Sold out after 15 years, but never brought any cars down. My observations: If your on the coasts: traffic, stop lights, elderly drivers and strip malls.
Intense heat and humidity makes modern a/c a necessity. And then there are the tropical down bursts/white outs. and trucks that done slow down. Scary stuff. Interstate 95, 75 & 4 are high speed mash ups and rodeos. Sebring and Daytona are must see's as is the Rev Collection. If you trek into the center of the state, the roads open up.
But if you like curves and elevation changes , forget it

Any story on the Group C/GTP car?

I believe that 956 is an old show dummy is saw years ago in Jax. Was owned by a guy who did some work with Bob who owned the Speedster prototype. Probably was traded for paint work. Looks cool but only body work.
Cool story on the Speedster prototype. Back when Speedsters were cheep, Bob bought it sight unseen from NJ and had it shipped to Fl.
When he saw the vin 12223 he knew he had been screwed. Speedsters vins are suppose to start with 8, he thought. He decided to enjoy and even vintage race it for many years. Bob and I are friends, I was on the 54 Speedster Registry so he called me and wanted to share his astonishment. Someone had just posted a factory handwritten ledger of the 54 Speedsters and 12223 was first on the list. Needless to say he was excited. Kind of like winning the lottery.
