    FS: Original LWB Turn Signals

    ** SOLD **

This is a pair that I bought some time ago. They evidently had some corrosion and signs of repair, not too badly done actually. I decided that they weren't candidates for a #1 restoration so I went ahead and spiffed them up and built them out. They are U.S. housings so I built them with U.S. lenses. If you prefer a Euro configuration I have the bits in addition to the Euro lenses to do a proper conversion.

As you can see, they are equipped with short wire harnesses for easy installation.

Cost for the pair configured is $480.00.

If you prefer a Euro configuration the cost is $595.00.

Your choice of black or silver trim lenses.

    Cheers,
    John

P.S. Please forgive the bluish tone. That always seems to happen when I take pictures on my front porch (north facing) late in the day.

Original LWB turn signal housings are getting very hard to find - and they're expensive and in poor condition when you do find them. Check out this current eBay listing, one housing for $245.00.

You can buy this screaming bargain HERE.

I believe that the euro ones for 72/73 were with white reflectors matching the tail-lights. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Do you mean white interior? I'm not certain about silver vs. white interiors of turn signal and taillight housings but I would love to have a definitive answer. My thought at the moment is that F-Series housing interiors were silver and G-Series housings were white. ?? I would love to find out that white was more widely used as I think that it's a better look.

    Thanks,
    John

72/73 ROW (incl Euro) were silver at the front and white at the back. I believe US spec were silver at front and back.
    Kind regards

I have a 911E produced 11/1972 (MY 73) first delivery Switzerland. For turning lights housings have a white interior on the driver's side which is in a very bad state, and a silver interior one at the passenger's side that looks like it has been installed recently. It seems that the left front white interior housing is the original factory one (judging from its current state) and I believe that for Europe for years 72/73 there were front and rear with a white interior.
For USA and Italy, it was silver all around. I think is also listed in PET with different parts nos for Italy and USA. So the specific turn light housings that John is selling here are only suitable for Italy and USA.
You can see John's housing exhibiting ITALIEN/USA.
