    FS: 3" Brembo front calipers

For sale a pair of 3" Brembo calipers from an Alfa.
    Nice upgrade.
    This pair is really clean.
Pads are wearing evenly, I might be tempted to bolt them right on.

$400 shipped in the US. Others at cost.

These Brembo have 48mm pistons. The 48's are the most common size for the Porsche front caliper used in the M, M vented rotor, S and A calipers. The Brembo and the S calipers are aluminum alloy for lighter weight; S has the 3.5" spacing, and the Brembo has the 3.0" spacing for the mount bolts. Similarly the M and the A, cast iron calipers have the mount bolt spacing M = 3.0" and the A = 3.5". The M calipers have smaller pad areas than the S, A and Brembo. So as Dean says, the upgrade is the lighter unsprung weight and the larger pad surface area. Pad thickness and shape do vary.
