    Schwarzmarkt

    What a great car.

There are interesting notes on the Kardex.

The car was sold through Autohaus Christl at Filchner Allee 80 in Munich. A VW dealership of this name still exists at this address, now Filchner Strasse.

The kardex also mentions Schwarzmarkt which translates to black market.

    Schwarzmarkt (nach I Manat? ?? ??) s. HM. VK-EX - Ha v. 14.10.68

    Which hopefully someone can decipher.

HM might have something to do with a high performance motor (Hochleistung Motor) as mentioned in a previous thread

    Does indeed look like Schwarzmarkt.
(Nach 1 Monat) = After 1 month. Maybe someone else is better at deciphering

    Thanks Dave as always.
So without any context, it basically says:

black market (after 1 month deregistered by own choice) see internal notice VK-EX - HA from Oct 14 1968

I sincerely doubt the "black market" issue...

    Maybe Schweizmarkt?
Not entirely correct as it would be schweizer Markt

Based on the info provided, "black market" does seem appropriate. The car was purchased (on behalf of Bruce) to be shipped to the USA where the car was essentially not legal for road use. The car was to be used for racing purposes, so the guarantee would be nullified anyway as we have seen on many Kardex for race cars. So it makes sense that the owner would nullify the warranty. This is one of 3 cars that Bruce drove, the 67S, this 68S and a 70ST. Strange names found on the Kardex though.
I would still appreciate educated guesses as to the "VK-EX - Ha", and I am not too certain of the "abmeld eigen" which I feel are just wild guesses.

The Kardex looks like it was redesigned with Photoshop or similar software programs.
At least some parts were whitened.
The factory would never write "Schwarzmarkt" in the Kardex.
I can't proof it, so it's just my personal point of view.
According to the history description of the offered car it was delivered to a Porsche dealer in Hamburg. But the presented Kardex shows that the Mahag München (VW and Porsche dealer) ordered the car and delivered it to Autohaus Christl, Munich, which still is a VW dealer in Munich.
I will try to get information about this Kardex from the Porsche factory.

I've seen both the BIG and SMALL 77 Jennings cars. Fantastic in person. PHIL and KlubSport do it right.
