Need advice on these Hella 128 fog lights

    Hello
I have the opportunity to acquire what appears to be original Hella 128 fog lights coming from a 1966 911.
One of the outer bezel is broken, do you think it would be possible to weld it and chrom it again ?
Any other comments welcome regarding the specs of these fog lights.
    Many thanks in advance
    François

Francois might be easier to find an used bezel.

BTW this trim ring is 67/68?
On the earlier lights there was a small watering hole in the case and not bezel?

    Thank you Richard
You are right, finding a used bezel would be easier, but this must be hard to find.
I spent hours reading thread on Hella 128 and this is still confusing for me to understand its evolution.
Indeed, no drain water triangle in the housing, no rivet at the back, so probably not a 65/66 model…
Do you think these are repro ?

Ivan fuller wrote an informative thread about 128 starting in 57?
Have you seen that? What year is your car?

I have these which seem to be pretty close to yours? Top picture shows the one on the left is a little different with a rivet in the center. I bought these 20 years ago for my 356 but never used them. Do you have any idea what vintage they might be?
