    1973 911S build date

Can anybody tell me the build month/year for 911S Coupe 9113301176? I bought the COA from Porsche, but that did not include it. I called Porsche, they didn't know. Seems like there should be a table out there, but I can't seem to find it.
    Thanks!

1430 of these were produced. My '73S was made in Feb 1973 with Vin 9113300854. They made about 130 per month, so odds are yours is a late April or early May 1973 car.
It should be on your door jamb sticker, but this may be gone or painted over by now.

1162 and 1256 were May 73 - as yours is in-between those, safe to say May 73

I agree, I have other data even closer that are May.

Mark the data that I believe are the Compliance decals. The Factory data only has the invoice date which can be the next month. So any CoA / PPS or such can only have the invoice date. In my reports I call it that, and also provide the manufacturing month when that can be determined. Very telling when most of the "Birth dates" are the first of the month.

Thanks all for the very helpful information. My door jamb sticker got removed by my painter, and I am trying to get a reproduction made. I'll go with May 1973.

    Thanks again!

    Beeeeutifful colour combination Matt.

FYI, Carbone (although may have stopped) and Decal Restore (https://decalrestore.wordpress.com) both make authentic VIN stickers.
