Start with P&C. More compression. The heads have bigger ports and valves. The cams are different. Distributor. Etc...The list goes on

R's have more hp less torque over the 67S-68S-and 69 MFI S engines. I suspect that Andial motor is more S then R. R's probably have even less torque. Probably fun on a track at 6 to 8000 rpm. Maybe 205 or 210 hp at 8000 rpm with 906 cams. It sounds awesome and looks neat on paper. Driving through a major city at 5-7500 rpm, not so much. Oh, and don't forget the $100K.

My buddy purchased a 911 GT3R. Total track car. Full cage, no interior, pneumatic jacks, etc. We threw dealer tags in it and he drove it home from the shop. Miserable experience driving through town. Clutch was an on-off switch so lots of stalling behind slow moving cars.

I just talked to a guy who flew to California from Denver to pick it up a new GT3 Touring from a dealer. He drove it for 10 minutes and took it back to the dealer. He said the experience was not what he hoped for. I think it was something about not wanting to kill himself. A/C and good heat would be nice in my 67. Other than that my car is fast enough for me. But then, I'm also not in my 20's to 40's.
