    Set of 4 date matched 5.5 x 15 68 Fuchs

SOLD SOLD SOLD Update on 11/23/2022, lowered to $5975. Set of 4 date matched 1968 5.5 x 15 wheels $6250. 1 had minor curb rash and the other had a scratch so I had those two restored at Fuchs Restoration, the other 2 look to have been previously restored and are in great shape. 1 of the wheels is 5 of 68, the other 3 are 6 of 68. I was planning on using these on a Bahama Yellow 68 912 I am restoring but am leaning towards 5.5s in the front and 6s in the rear and I have another pair of 69 5.5 inch wheels I need to send off for restoration to use for that setup.

Oh good grief, can't believe I forgot to include the price! $6250 for the set of 4. I have wheel boxes to ship them in and get decent discounts on UPS shipping.

Last data point I saw on 5.5s was this BAT listing below, $6100 for unrestored wheels plus 5% buyers premium ($305) for a total of $6405 plus shipping. Naturally the 67 4.5s go for even higher.

Were these the ones taken off the 68 Row Targa that was flipped? I believe everyone has the right to do what they wish. I am just curious because if they did originally go with that car I would be interested in them.

    these are 6/1968 dated
so they would not have been on your 2/1968 Targa originally
you need to find December or January/February wheels to be date correct
if that does not mater then these would be appropriate for your Targa.

No, they weren't the wheels off that car. No idea what happened to those wheels, they were on the car when I sold it but obviously were separated from the car later which is a shame in my opinion.
