    Removing MFI Cold Start Solenoid From Fuel Filter?

    Looking at pictures, it appears Porsche 911 race carsfrom the early ‘70’s had the cold start solenoid removed from the top of the engine bay mounted fuel filter. I would like to do the same on my hot rod and was wondering if I can do this with a stock ‘71E fuel filter console. If I can, what do I need to use to plug the hole where the solenoid threads in to (I’m assuming a short bolt and crush washer)?

    Very common plug, 14x1.5mm. Used on 80’s chain covers, to plug sensor holes.
