Original Recaro Rallye 1 Bucket Seats

    Hi All,

I have a set of 1971-1973 period rally seats for sale. The seats (recaro rallye 1 type 13.00.00, option 9551) have their original upholstery. The patine is gorgeous and I decided to keep the used look.
Seats are complete with recaro sliders and D-shaped headrests.

The seats have several flaws due to age and use.

The seat with the recaro sign:

Overall very good, the bucket is undamaged. The ribcord has its stains and the black leatherette has two tiny nicks (picture with thumb). The headrest was in bad state so the skai leatherette was renewed and as you can see it turned out nicely.

The seat without the recaro sign:

This one is in less good state. Pictures show the ribcord with two tears and several stains and imperfections. The leatherette is cracked on the inner side (picture with two fingers). The crack is not through and I would leave it as is. On one corner the skai is also damaged (picture)
The bucket (the gfk shell) shows two similar repairs done many years ago: the seat got damaged on the rear end when it was pushed too far backward. After the repairs the seats were used without any problem.

The headrests were too corroded so I had the steel rods galvanised and the ground plates are freshly powdercoated (see pictures).

The recaro knobs are original and in very good nice state.

Overall gorgeous seats, they will look great in a strong F model porsche.

    Price : 4600$
    International shipping available.

Ps if you do not need the recaro sliders the price 800$ less

The seats were for sale for 7 minutes? Rennman you are first in line but take your time to look at all the pictures first. And let me know how you want to proceed.
