    1970 T - Option Group D15 - What’s Included?

    Hello All,

I recently acquired a 1970 pastel blue 911T. It came with 911S instruments and oil tank per the CoA. It also lists Option Group D15 under optional equipment. I have searched high and low and can't seem to find what is included in "Option Group D15". Does anyone know?

    Thanks for your help!

    Phil

S-type rubber on bumpers front rear
    S-type Chrome sills
    Velouran carpet
    Gold plate lettering « Porsche » « 911T »
    S-type oil tank and instruments

Option was named « Appereance Group » or « Comfort Group » package
    in period literature..some say today also « S-package ».
Package only available only for 911T, 911E on 2.2l had it standard and 911S too.

D15 is a Group Option that includes a bundle of individual M options. M470 is a special Group option that actually has an M option designation. The package described by 911T1971 is actually M470, but it does vary from year to year.
Phil, if you help me, then I can help you solve the mystery of D15. I'll send you an email or PM. Dave
